Insomnia is a narrative 2D platformer for the 2021 Global Game Jam. This year's Game Jam theme is "Lost and Found", so we designed a game about a man who lost and eventually found his sleep. The game follows this man's journey to overcoming his inner demons and trying to fall asleep.
The game, art, and music were finished in 48 hours in Unity 2D. The game was nominated for Best Overall in Global Game Jam NYU site.
In this project, I was responsible for coding and level design. I also helped make sprite art for platforms and gates.

Global Game Jam 2026
My Roles: Game Designer, Level Designer, 2D artist

The theme for Global Game Jam 2026 was "Mask". My friends and I leaned into the "brain-rot" culture and used phones as a mask. The gameplay is simple: play as a student, move your phone-holding arm to block eye contact, and make it to the school exit without your anxiety level spiking through the roof.
While the control is simple, the wobbly noodle arm that shakes more violently as the anxiety goes up makes the journey more challenging than it seems. The screen also becomes more distorted as the anxiety level increases.
The game, art, and music were finished in 48 hours in Unity 2D. I was responsible for writing the design document, designing levels, implementing 3D assets, and designing 2D art.

Ludum Dare 56
My Roles: Game Designer, 2D Artist

The theme for Ludum Dare 56 was "Tiny Creatures", so we decided to make a platformer game in which players play as a little creature residing in a bodega. They need to interact with the environment to scare away customers and keep their peace, all while evading customer's sights.

The game, art, and music were finished in 72 hours in Unity 2D. I was responsible for writing the design document and drawing art assets.

POV: Golf
Team Size: 5 | Engine: Unity 3D
GN! Game Jam #16
Download link: itch.io
My Roles: Level Designer
The theme of this game jame was "View". We landed on creating a simple golfing game but with a twist: you see the world from the perspective not as the golfer, but the golf ball. This makes the game incredibly disorienting and creates new challenges in completing each level.

The Legend of Zelda (1986) Clone

My Roles: Programmer, 2D Artist

This is the final project for Intermediate Game Development: clone a retro game but make every asset from the ground up. Within one month, we cloned the first major area of the original game. We tweaked the endgame condition that players need to collect 200 rupees in our version to purchase the Triforce.
